Fees And Charges
A fee policy has been developed by the Department of Human Services to ensure that all people in Victoria are treated equally in relation to paying fees for the services they receive. The level of income of the client and the type of service determines fees.
An hourly fee is charged for Home and Community Care Services based upon your disposable income. The balance of the cost, including travel, is met by Council and Government grants. The fee charged depends on the kind of service you receive and the assessment of your household income - fees generally range from $5.90 per hour - $15.00 per hour. The fees you are charged will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of your initial assessment.
